The Seacoast Mavericks want to host your next fundraiser!

 

The Seacoast Mavericks are a member of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) with all home games played at Leary Field in Portsmouth, NH. Our vision is to embed ourselves within the community by giving back to the organizations that support us. One way we have been successful is by creating plans for local organizations to raise money. During our inaugural season, we successfully raised funds for Howie’s Field of Dreams, Rich Gray Memorial Scholarship, and the Adam Keenan Scholarship and Sportsmanship award. Given the positive experience, we would like to expand beyond these groups for the upcoming season.

 

Why the Mavericks?

 

The Seacoast Mavericks provide high value, affordable entertainment for families without the hassle of long distance travel, expensive ticket and concession prices. Our team and league is comprised of exceptionally-talented collegiate level baseball players from around the country who aspire to play professionally. Players are easily approachable before and after games for autographs and pictures. The 2011 Mavericks featured three MLB draft picks: Jerico Weitzel (Minnesota Twins), Ruben Sosa (Houston Astros), and Michael Hashem (Atlanta Braves).

 

How it Works

 

Your organization selects an available game night from the Seacoast Mavericks 2013 FCBL season and sets a sales goal and deadline. Fundraising tickets are sold at $5 each across the board (Adult/Senior/Junior). For each ticket sold, you immediately earn $2. There is no waiting for your commission. As an added incentive, if your organization sells 250 tickets, we will donate half the proceeds of the game night raffle for your evening! Dates are limited and awarded on a first come, first serve basis with preference given to non-profits and organizations that benefit children.

 

What to expect on your night

 

On game night, your organization will be treated to a night of entertainment and will be recognized for supporting the Seacoast Mavericks. Members from your group will be selected to throw out the first pitch and participate in our on field promotions. Have a talented singer in your group? Nominate him or her to sing the national anthem. Help us help you as we strive to win the FCBL championship from defending champs the Nashua Silver Knights!
